This role’s primary focus is to manage, activate and service our NFL Athletes. Primary owner of our NFL Athlete strategy and portfolio this role must identify, evaluate, negotiate and service the NFL roster. In coordination with the Team Sports category and Brand Marketing this role must drive activation strategies for Tier 1 Football athletes and below to enrich the connection between our athletes and The Brand and ultimately grow consideration & influence the focused performer for growth.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports N.A. sports marketing strategy building Athlete strategy and activation
  • Own and manage NFL athlete portfolio and associated budgets.
  • Service the athlete with excellence
  • Deliver external communication of product and brand initiatives to athletes and agencies
  • Work in an integrated team environment with other functional marketing partners that help drive UA’s Team + Football business
  • Support region’s sports marketing Director in building annual business plans and athlete calendars

    Required Skills

  • BS/BA required
  • 7+ years of Sports Marketing Experience
  • Depth in knowledge of sports management and sports industry, Passion and experience working with Professional Athletes and Agencies
  • Strategically and creatively minded, Reputation for being flexible. Energetic, hardworking, and enthusiastic personality. Planning, organizational and project management competencies
  • Travel up to 50%
