Under the direction of the V.P., Integrated Marketing, develop and oversee a system-wide events “center of excellence” for corporate event-related planning and execution, liaising with various stakeholders throughout the Northwell organization. Oversee and direct corporate sponsorship relationships and implementation.


Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, manage and execute special events for Northwell Health. Responsible for all aspects of events from start to finish, including budget management.
  • Interact directly with Northwell management to gain working knowledge of their needs in order to create event based programs.
  • Coordinating all event program elements leading up to and onsite including accommodations, entertainment venues, activities, premium items, transportation, F&B, etc.
  • Direct existing corporate sponsorship relationships, both planning and execution. Assure alignment of sponsorship relationships with overall brand strategy.
  • Generate and research new event and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Work with the in-house creative team as well as freelancers on creation and preparation of event and sponsorship marketing materials.
  • Maintain working knowledge of developments in the event and sponsorship industry and actively participate in industry trade associations.
  • Create and maintain event and sponsorship timelines and budgets.
  • Solicit regular feedback from relevant stakeholders to continuously improve event satisfaction and increase attendance over time. Utilize market research to assess the impact of corporate sponsorships.
  • Maintain sponsorship calendars and work with partners to create activation opportunities.
  • Maintain and manage sponsorship contracts.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships, and events and sponsorship staff.

    Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of direct experience in event planning and corporate sponsorships, preferably with some sports-related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Must be able/willing to work nights and weekends as needed to support events
  • Must be proficient in EXCEL and PowerPoint
