Under the direction of the V.P., Integrated Marketing, develop and oversee a system-wide events “center of excellence” for corporate event-related planning and execution, liaising with various stakeholders throughout the Northwell organization. Oversee and direct corporate sponsorship relationships and implementation.
Responsibilities
Research, develop, manage and execute special events for Northwell Health. Responsible for all aspects of events from start to finish, including budget management.
Interact directly with Northwell management to gain working knowledge of their needs in order to create event based programs.
Coordinating all event program elements leading up to and onsite including accommodations, entertainment venues, activities, premium items, transportation, F&B, etc.
Direct existing corporate sponsorship relationships, both planning and execution. Assure alignment of sponsorship relationships with overall brand strategy.
Generate and research new event and sponsorship opportunities.
Work with the in-house creative team as well as freelancers on creation and preparation of event and sponsorship marketing materials.
Maintain working knowledge of developments in the event and sponsorship industry and actively participate in industry trade associations.
Create and maintain event and sponsorship timelines and budgets.
Solicit regular feedback from relevant stakeholders to continuously improve event satisfaction and increase attendance over time. Utilize market research to assess the impact of corporate sponsorships.
Maintain sponsorship calendars and work with partners to create activation opportunities.
Maintain and manage sponsorship contracts.
Manage agency and vendor relationships, and events and sponsorship staff.
Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum of 8-10 years of direct experience in event planning and corporate sponsorships, preferably with some sports-related experience.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Must be able/willing to work nights and weekends as needed to support events
Must be proficient in EXCEL and PowerPoint
