2K is looking for a passionate and self-motivated Director to work collaboratively with our Marketing Partner, Brand Marketing, and Partnership teams to evangelize and capitalize on the benefits and deliverables of this strategically important marketing partnership.
The Director, Partnership Marketing is a new 12-month contract role and will be based in Novato, California, and report into the VP, Global Marketing Planning, and Optimization.
What You Will Do:
Be the voice to our internal teams to explain and evangelize a strategically important partnership agreement, its benefits, and our deliverables in order to maximize every opportunity
Be the voice to our Partner to always drive 2K’s position (eg: ensuring maximum exposure in the advertising campaign, events, etc) and push for incremental value
Ensure that paid media obligations are briefed, implemented and met (creative tagging, platform spend, reporting, approvals, etc)
Ensure all materials requiring alignment with our partner are facilitated in a timely manner in order to avoid any invalidation (marketing plans, media investment, creative materials, etc)
Drive our internal teams to deliver all materials as needed (marketing plans, media investment, creative materials, etc)
Identify areas where we can improve and/or amplify opportunities and drive alignment of those changes/optimizations with relevant Partner and internal team communication
Work with our local country teams to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled as well as driving local opportunities that may not be facilitated within the global partnership agreement
You are a self-starter and problem solver and have the ability to develop strong, open, and collaborative working relationships by gaining trust to successfully manage and deliver against expectations. You consistently exhibit natural curiosity and dynamism with a passion and enthusiasm for driving results.
10+ years of relevant digital and/or partnership marketing or advertising experience
Interactive entertainment experience and/or passion are a plus
Strong leadership and negotiation skills with a proven ability to influence teams and individuals and effectively leverage resources and relationships to deliver optimal results
Ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders to keep programs on schedule
Innate ability to respectfully challenge the status quo.
Ability to write and develop persuasive, organized presentations
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Experience in collaborating within dynamic and matrixed organizations
International marketing or advertising experience would be ideal
