PlayStation is searching for a Brand Partnerships Specialist. You will provide support to the Global Partnerships & Events team, helping to execute brand partnership marketing plans and deliver significant activations that drive PlayStation brand affinity and expand the brand to new audiences


This is an exciting opportunity to work with non-endemic brand partners (CPG, QSR, Beverage, Apparel, etc.) and sponsorship entities (Leagues, teams, etc.) in unique ways that help extend the reach of the PlayStation brand. We’re looking for someone with an appetite for and passionate about the consumer marketing space with a proven understanding of gaming, sports, entertainment, music, and pop culture.


Responsibilities:

  • Work cross functionally with internal partners to drive brand partnership program execution end to end; Including engagement with Legal, Creative, Digital, and Brand teams for program/asset review, feedback, and overall alignment.
  • Support in prioritizing brand partnership campaign tasks and supervising deadlines for results.
  • Assist in the delivery of promotional assets needed for partnerships and activation programs.
  • Help the team in development and aggregation of brand information needs for brand partner pitch and program recap decks.
  • Support the execution of key sponsorship programming including asset delivery, activation, content development and on the ground support where needed.
  • Support the programming and execution of influencer campaigns for key brand partnership programs, hardware or brand campaigns, and first party software launches.
  • Support key PlayStation events with on-the-ground support and asset creation as needed (personal attendance at certain events may be required).
  • Support the team with various other projects as needed (administrative tasks, research, campaign analysis, etc.).
  • Provide regular campaign updates to project partners
  • Field general requests from our network of territory offices
  • Partner closely with external marketing agencies and suppliers where appropriate
  • Budget management and reporting as needed to support the group


    Required Skills

  • BA/BS Required (Marketing or Business Degree Preferred)
  • 2-5+ years’ experience in a Marketing or Partnership capacity; gaming, sports/entertainment, or brand marketing experience a plus

    Requirements:

  • Motivated self-starter with a passion for gaming and/or working in the gaming industry, plus a passion or interest in crafting unique brand activations/partnerships.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience multitasking and managing various projects at once.
  • Ability to work optimal and professionally with the team, internal cross-functional groups, and potentially external partners, all while in a high-pressure environment.
  • Well versed in pop culture, sports trends, relevant brands a plus.
  • Excellent critical thinking
  • Proactive with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to tell a “story” through presentations.
  • MS office, proficiency in excel, word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus.
