The Sponsorship Solutions Specialist will assist the Sponsorship Solutions Manager with strategic and creative development of custom brand activations for Roku’s leading advertising clients. The person in this role will be charged with aiding in the conceptualization of new, compelling, feasible ad opportunities from a marketing and sales-minded lens. The ideal candidate is someone who can think outside of the box, thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a self-starter, and has the ability to work cross functionally in a process-driven manner. An impeccable communicator and team player, the Sponsorship Solutions Specialist will multi-task across simultaneous projects and deadlines, collaborating with teams across the organization for both pre and post-sales support of Brand Experiences at Roku.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with custom sponsorship solutions for Roku-built editorial, product features, endemic opportunities, and The Roku Channel bringing to life Roku’s strategic solution from an abstract concept to a fully thought out sellable program/campaign.
  • Align with Roku’s leading strategic advertising clients, becoming an expert in the brand in order to proactively create first-to-market custom opportunities which extend the brand’s campaign or big ideas into the OTT space.
  • Lead brainstorms - towing the line between unique creative expression and brand or product realities
  • Concept creative ideas that result in effective, breakthrough communication
  • Be the voice of sales and clients with cross functional teams (product, editorial, creative, legal) distilling client asks and product phasing/limitations ensuring sales and product needs are accounted for, documented, and clearly explained to all necessary parties.
  • Collaborate with the Sponsorship Sales Director, Branded Partnership Lead, Content Lead and Product Marketing Manager to vet ideas and concepts from pre-sale to post-sale execution
  • Assist in post-sale sold sponsorships from turn-key products to out-of-the-box new ideas to ensure a smooth operational process and production for support teams
  • Role reports into the Sponsorship Solutions Manager

  • Exceptional project management and production skills, with the ability to look at “never-been-done” and see solutions not obstacles
  • Passionate about creative, business-driving solutions
  • Experienced in generating creative ideas that fit within a brand’s strategy or framework
  • Experienced in writing and outlining overall strategy narratives as well as generating pitch decks and materials in Power Point Comfortable with using programs in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable, with the ability to keep multiple balls in the air at all times
  • Energized by a start-up environment and willing to navigate new situations
  • Independent with leadership qualities, yet still a “people person” who is able to follow direction when asked
  • A strong writer and natural storyteller who can self-edit their work 1-3 years’ experience of relevant experience in digital marketing, advertising or brand strategy'
  • Bachelors degree
