We’re looking for a Digital Flagship & Activity Director to synthesize business opportunities, financial data and member insights, to deliver new capabilities across digital properties, focusing on Nike.com and the Nike App. In this role, you will meaningfully and intentionally connect the Digital Flagship & Activity team to the Nike / Jordan / Nike Direct vision and strategy, and to key partners. You will act as a thought partner in strategic conversations with internal and external partners. You will also manage a portfolio of concrete business initiatives and relationships.


You should have a passion for, and good understanding of, the digital platform/engagement landscape and be comfortable working with lots of data! The candidate should have experience in multiple areas, including business development, strategy and operations, and the ability to see the big picture. Similarly, you should have experience building momentum and aligning multiple constituencies within large organizations. The ideal candidate is capable of defining a vision, marshaling resources, executing on an initiative and presenting the results to senior leadership.


WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON


If this is you, you will refine and communicate the Nike Digital Flagship & Activity strategic vision and roadmap. You will proactively manage Digital Flagship & Activity team representation and influence in key strategic and capability planning meetings. You will connect and align Digital Flagship & Activity team strategy and operations with key partners and drive select cross-functional business initiatives, end-to-end, from strategic vision through operations.


WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH


The Digital Flagship & Activity Director will report to the Sr. Director Jordan Marketplace, NDDC and work with key partners, including Geography teams, Global Jordan cross-functional teams and Nike Digital Product teams.


Required Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of experience leading and managing business development, strategy, innovative initiatives and assessing new business models within the digital commerce or retail industry. Ideally, candidates will have previous experience working with a large brand
  • Bachelors degree or an additional two years of professional experience in lieu of degree
  • Strong quantitative acumen
  • Passion for building consumer experiences.
  • Enthusiasm for identifying emerging trends in the digital world and leading innovation
  • Strong executive presence and executive communications skills
  • Experience managing complex initiatives from start to finish
  • Outstanding networking, relationship building and partner management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, consensus-building skills, with ability to communicate and achieve results across multiple audiences in a complex organizational structure.
  • Proficient in Keynote/PowerPoint/MS Word Suite.
