The Sports Marketing Specialist will be responsible for activating Grass Roots Product Demo Events and selling product through Mobile Hit Lab. In addition, this team member will be responsible for coordinating field demos for new and existing Easton/Rawlings Baseball and Softball Products. This position wills also assist the Easton/Rawlings Product and Brand teams with player feedback, social media support, and product insights.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leads the coordination and organization of the grass roots event schedule and activation. Attends events and sells product, onsite, to players, parents, and coaches.
  • Assists the Team Sales Director with coordination of grass roots partnerships and opportunities to demo product and facilitate the Mobile Hit Lab.
  • Manages and organizes Mobile Hit Lab for fall and spring tours to maximize on field exposure and exclusive product usage.
  • Develops strong local relationships with Baseball and Softball players, tournament directors and teams to routinely test/promote Easton/Rawlings product in the field.
  • Assists the Team Sales Director and the Category Management teams to develop reports and surveys to effectively report and organize player feedback.
  • Assists the local Team Sales Rep with providing additional support to key retail partners.
  • Works with Category Management teams to assist in product development initiatives and timelines with valuable on-field product insights.
  • Assists the Sales/Marketing team with Easton/Rawlings Mobile Hit Lab objectives – brand storytelling, and sales driving initiatives.
  • Assists the Brand Marketing team with social media and digital campaigns.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed.


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or 2 to 4 years of related work experience.
  • Extensive relationship building and experience with Travel Baseball and Softball.
  • Ability to travel and work from the road approximately 50% of the year.
  • High level of organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to clearly understand challenges and concerns and develop resolutions.
  • Work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group.
  • Exercise high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
