As the 8x8 Sr. Director, Sponsorships and Media, you will be a senior member of the demand gen marketing team. You will lead the strategic development and implementation of sponsorship and media plans for the company, that result in the successful impact of sales and marketing shared objectives. We are looking for someone who brings demonstrated experience in developing these programs from early frameworks to highly scalable demand generation engines. The ideal candidate will be deeply experienced in this area, self-directed, well-organized, detail oriented, a terrific leader, and an even better teammate.


In this role, the Sr. Director, Sponsorships and Media, will partner with marketing, sales, and finance leadership to establish the sponsorships and media strategy, including targets, tiering, guardrails, and ROI for the company. The role also includes tight collaboration with field marketing and sales teams to meet pipeline goals with hospitality inventory. The brand team within marketing is a close partner in delivering the right digital, display, and out-of-home media to drive measurable results. Your programs will support global demand generation KPI's and ROI.


Responsibilities

  • Refine the company’s sponsorship frameworks, including targets, tiers, required elements, guardrails, and approvals
  • Maximize the company’s existing sponsorship relationships including hospitality and branding opportunities
  • Develop the company’s media framework, including targets, tiers, testing criteria, measurement methodology, and ROI
  • Establish hospitality inventory management principles with Field Marketing and Sales Leadership
  • Collaborate with the Brand team on digital signage, display, and branding opportunities
  • Obtain executive approvals on scalable frameworks and strategies to scale decisionmaking
  • Deliver executive reporting on ROI and benefit from sponsorship and media programs
  • Work collaboratively and effectively across all levels of management and staff within the organization
  • Other duties as applicable


    Required Skills

  • 15+ years experience in High Tech B2B Marketing with a focus on demand generation, media, sponsorships, field marketing or campaign marketing
  • 3+ years running sponsorship and media for enterprise accounts
  • Experience in building out sponsorship and media strategies to drive pipeline
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in working with media agencies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
  • Data-driven and focused on pipeline, brand impact, and sales goals
  • Creative thinker who can drive out-of-the-box approaches to stand out and reach the audience
  • High level in both verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills are a must
  • Ability to simultaneously coordinate multiple, high-priority projects
