Edward Jones signs deal with Alzheimer's Association CHICAGO, Feb. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Alzheimer's Association today announced an historic partnership with St. Louis-based financial services firm Edward Jones. Edward Jones has committed $4.7 million over two years to support the mission of the Alzheimer's Association. Funding through the partnership will enhance the Association's care and support programs, including the 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) and provide educational materials on brain health as well as funds for critical Alzheimer's disease research and grassroots awareness activities. In addition, the Alzheimer's Association will provide services, support and education on brain health and Alzheimer's disease to Edward Jones' associates and clients.
Shutterfly partners with Alzheimer's Association Shutterfly, Inc. (SFLY) today formally announced a partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association to share the benefits of using photos as reminiscence therapy with people living with Alzheimer’s disease. The company’s support began in June with a $25,000 donation that will help fund Alzheimer’s care, support and research programs. Shutterfly’s involvement will continue throughout 2015 with fundraising, social activations, event sponsorship and local participation in Walk to End Alzheimer’s events around the country. Additionally, for every pre-selected Shutterfly “family memory” photo book sold this summer, the company will donate $1 to the Alzheimer’s Association.
