Sailing
The regatta started in 1968 and celebrated its 50th edition in 2017. 144 yachts attended and had an amazing week. Classes include CSA racing, Multihull and Bareboat and fun class. Participants are a mixture of privately owned boats with many race boat and bareboat charters.

Spectators enjoy stunning views from cliff tops and bars along the coastline, or take to the water in motor boats and tour boats to see the action up close before heading off to snorkel or an afternoon of relaxation beach side. The sailors return from racing to the Antigua Yacht Club for daily prize givings and passionate post ace analysis daily.

Lay Day which takes place at Pigeon Beach mid-week is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the perfect Caribbean beach day.
Each evening official parties and the bars and restaurants of English Harbour have an incredible international atmosphere where islanders, visitors and sailors all mix together.

After a challenging week of racing, Antigua Sailing Week draws to a close in the romantic historic Nelson’s Dockyard with the best final awards presentation in the Caribbean attended by boat owners and skippers with their crews, friends, well-wishers and race officials.

For those who wish to stay on into the weekend Dockyard Day and the Dickenson Bay Beach Bash over Saturday and Sunday are two wonderful days in which visitors can immerse themselves in Antigua culture and kick back after a long week of racing.

Antigua Sailing Week is preceded by the Peters & May Round Antigua Race, a race that circumnavigates Antigua, the day before the official start of Antigua Sailing Week. The race is optional and scored separately and offers excellent training opportunities for many crews.

The 51st edition of Antigua Sailing Week will take place in 2018. Racing will take place from April 28 to May 4, 2018. A few days later the second Antigua to Bermuda Race will start from English Harbour on May 9, 2018.
