ArtPrize is a world-renowned international art competition and cultural event that transforms Grand Rapids, Michigan each year. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we operate year-round to raise the funds that make it all possible—including over $600,000 in prizes and grants awarded to artists, curators, and educators.

For 16 days each fall, ArtPrize turns the city into a living gallery, with more than 160 venues and public spaces hosting work from over 1,000 artists from around the world. From immersive experiences to amazing artwork, ArtPrize comes alive with activity—drawing nearly 800,000 visitors into an unforgettable celebration of art, culture, and community.
