Ben Sherman signs deal with British Olympic Association Tokyo 2020 Team GB to get the support of Ben Sherman at Tokyo 2020 15 April 2019 / 08:57 Team GB and iconic British brand Ben Sherman today announced a deal as an official supporter for Tokyo 2020 and beyond.    The designer brand will be charged with creating an exclusive look to be worn by all Team GB athletes during the Opening Ceremony at Tokyo 2020 next July.    The deal will also see Ben Sherman create a commemorative fashion collection available for retail for Team GB fans.    Ben Sherman is no stranger to Team GB, having provided official formalwear for the delegation at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.     With less than 16 months to the start of Tokyo 2020 the addition of Ben Sherman comes at the perfect time and British Olympic Association Commercial Director, Tim Ellerton, had no doubt about the quality that Ben Sherman brings.    “Ben Sherman is a heritage brand synonymous with British fashion and having worked together for Athens 2004, they know what Team GB means in this country.     “The Opening Ceremony of a Games is a unique moment when the eyes of the world are on the team before the excitement of Tokyo 2020 commences.     “Ben Sherman is known for its creativity and class and we are already excited about the designs they have in mind that will introduce the brilliant Team GB athletes to the world at the Games in the best possible way.”    Following on from four successful runway seasons at London Fashion Week Men’s and an exhibition at Pitti Uomo in Florence, celebrating its 55-year history, Ben Sherman’s tie-up with Team GB is one that brings great pride and excitement to the company, as Mark Williams, Creative Director, explained.    “It’s absolutely amazing for the brand to represent Team GB at the Olympics. Haven Holidays partners with British Olympic Association Team GB Haven join Team GB on the journey to Tokyo 2020 19 February 2019 / 09:44 Team GB has today confirmed a partnership with leading UK holiday park operator, Haven, becoming an official partner to support the team in the build up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.    It will give families a chance to experience a slice of Tokyo 2020 at Haven’s holiday parks, through fun and activities with Team GB Olympians appearing in parks around the UK. The partnership will also see Haven building on its commitment to celebrate the Great British coast.    Team GB’s planning for Tokyo is well underway and the ability to send a competitive team in the most prepared state is down to commercial partnerships, like Haven, which allows the planning to start well in advance.    The partnership will provide Haven guests with the opportunity to meet some of their Team GB heroes and their mascot, Pride the Lion, at a number of events held at Haven parks across the UK.  The athletes will be sharing their experiences as part of Team GB, with the aim of inspiring the next generation of sports enthusiasts.    Team GB will work closely with Haven to build on its existing offerings to boost momentum and excitement in the run up to Tokyo 2020, encouraging guests to come together and partake in a range of onsite games.     With importance placed on thoughtful and innovative collaborations, the partnership will create a unique and inspiring programme of activities, providing a whole host of new experiences to discover as a family.    British Olympic Association CEO, Bill Sweeney, said: “We’re proud to partner with such a well-known and liked British brand as Haven.
