The CGCA is Canada’s only national program designed exclusively to recognize excellence in the General Counsel community. The CGCA Advisory Board is composed predominantly of managing partners from different firms. Insisting on the diversity and credibility of our jury, the variety of law firms is well represented from
small to large firms; national to local; from east to west coast. More than 70 nominations forms are presented to the Advisory Board members who then deliberate to identify finalists and elect the winners in seven categories by secret ballot. At the awards ceremony, seven General Counsels and members of the Bar are then honored in front of 400 legal community leaders.
