NewDominion Bank sponsors Charlotte Hornets October 11, 2017 – The Charlotte Hornets today announced a new corporate partnership with NewDominion Bank in which the Charlotte-based bank has become the Preferred Community Bank of the Charlotte Hornets. This is the first major league sponsorship for NewDominion Bank, which was founded in 2005 and went through a rebranding initiative last year.
Barings partners with Charlotte Hornets September 6, 2017 – Hornets Sports & Entertainment and Barings today unveiled the new Barings Book Bus, a signature element of the partnership between the two organizations. In addition to the Book Bus, Barings has also become the presenting partner of the education pillar in the community efforts of the Hornets corporate social responsibility department and the Charlotte Hornets Foundation. The partnership is Charlotte-based Barings’ first with a professional sports team in its home market.
Jordan Brand sponsors Charlotte Hornets April 24, 2017 – Hornets Sports & Entertainment today announced plans to switch the locations of the Box Office and Hornets Fan Shop at Spectrum Center. The Box Office will move to the Trade Street Plaza, where the Hornets Fan Shop is located currently. Conversely, the Hornets Fan Shop will move to the Main Lobby of Spectrum Center, in the current location of the Box Office. Construction will begin Monday, May 1, with a targeted completion in late September.
Tykes sponsors Charlotte Hornets Fans making their way to Spectrum Center on Saturday, Nov. 26 to see the Charlotte Hornets take on the New York Knicks are in store for a special giveaway as the organization will be handing out 10,000 shirts displaying the entire team characterized as “Tykes” images. A Charlotte-based graphic design company, Tykes creates cartoon-style depictions of famous athletes and other personalities, providing fans with an alternative visual representation of their favorite teams and players.
Kumho signs deal with Charlotte Hornets November 16, 2016 – The Charlotte Hornets today announced that the organization has entered into a partnership with Kumho Tire under which Kumho becomes the Official Tire of the Charlotte Hornets and the team’s exclusive partner in the automobile tire manufacturer category.
