Rolex signs deal with Davis Cup (November 16, 2012) -- The ITF announced today that Rolex will continue as an international sponsor of Davis Cup by BNP Paribas in a multi-year deal starting in 2013. Rolex first joined the Davis Cup family of sponsors in 2007 and is the Official Timekeeper of Davis Cup. “We are delighted that Rolex is extending its association with Davis Cup and look forward to working with them over the coming years,” said ITF President Francesco Ricci Bitti via a press release. “The company’s commitment to tennis is good for the sport as a whole and we thank them for that. We think that the Davis Cup is an excellent fit because of its prestigious history that, for over a century, has asked each player and each team to strive for the very best.”
HP sponsors Davis Cup The four-year agreement, which sees HP become the official technology sponsor of Davis Cup, begins this week with the opening round of the 2010 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas. A total of eight World Group ties and 26 Zone Group ties will be played on 5-7 March in 34 nations worldwide. 133 nations have entered the 2010 competition and approximately 60 nations will host ties during the year.
