LeakyCon is a fan conference with a difference. We celebrate a diverse range of popular culture and fan communities with an emphasis on young adult literature.

LeakyCon commenced as a 750-guest event in Boston in 2009 and most recently entertained 3,950 attendees in Chicago in 2012. The conference features live musical performances, interactive literature and popular culture panels, workshops, seminars, forums, celebrity meet-ups, vending and exhibition stations, and much more.

On 27 – 30 June Leakyon will be hosted at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. We expect to draw 4,500 - 5,000 guests.

Why is LeakyCon different?
LeakyCon is unlike any other fan conference. It was created by fans as the antidote to the prevailing trend: commercial conferences where fans endure long lines to pay for a signed autograph. Rather than orient a conference around a transaction, we focused on creating a special community, where fans are comfortable being their true selves, where they enjoy meaningful interactions with people they admire, where they express their creativity and form lasting friendships with like-minded individuals. We are also proud to have donated over $220,000 to noteworthy charities. Giving back is core to our ethos.

Why sponsor LeakyCon?
Our sponsor packages are transforming, extending beyond pure brand exposure. The emotions and sensations we create are enduring and conveyed seamlessly to the brand sponsor. This allows the intangible transfer of our values, spirit and goodwill to your company. Our event provides the ideal platform for fans to interact with your product or brand. Your brand will be showcased through in-conference display advertising, a unique smart-phone app, national and regional press coverage and social media channels.
