Los Angeles Times The Taste is L.A.'s finest food and wine festival, comprised of 5 events over 3 days each Labor Day weekend. Held at the legendary Paramount Pictures Studios New York Street backlot, over 40 restaurants and spirits exhibitors participate in each event, with over 120 distinct restaurants participating over the weekend. Guests enjoy all-inclusive sampling of food and beverage and enjoy live cooking demonstrations on 2 stages along with L.A.'s top mixologists teaching their craft on the bar stage. Each event features a co-host duo of a Los Angeles Times food writer/editor and a local luminary in the culinary world. Past co-hosts and demonstration participants include Thomas Keller, Nancy Silverton, Curtis Stone, Roy Choi, Ludo Lefebvre, Susan Feniger, Michael Cimarusti, Giada de Laurentiis, Jet Tila, and Michael Voltaggio.
