The arrival of the club’s first Official Audio Streaming Partner has been celebrated by United players, along with legend Rio Ferdinand, sharing their passion for a variety of musical genres in a video being released today. As a global partner, Deezer will enhance the user experience on Manchester United channels, with fans able to access more than 43 million tracks and 40,000 pieces of broader audio content such as podcasts. United fans will also be able to experience the service’s signature feature, ‘Flow’, which automatically gives each user a personal soundtrack, put together by a combination of Deezer’s in-house musical curators as well as algorithmic data.

The three-year global partnership is being celebrated with the release of new, in-game imagery across Manchester United social media channels, helping to promote the forthcoming EA SPORTS FIFA 17 football game. Manchester United also takes centre stage in EA SPORTS’ promotion of FIFA 17 The Journey, a narrative-driven mode available only on the latest generation of consoles, where players live their Premier League story through Alex Hunter, a young apprentice who gets his shot at the big time. The trailer, which can be seen on the official partnership webpage, shows Alex starting his journey at Old Trafford. Throughout the partnership, EA SPORTS will gain access to United players for a unique FIFA tournament during the season, and gaming pods will be set up in the stadium as well as the Aon Training Complex.
