Chevrolet signs deal with NHRA As the official truck of NHRA, Chevrolet will have a major on-site presence at all NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events. Most notably, the all-new Chevrolet Silverados and Suburbans will be used by the legendary NHRA Safety Safari presented by AAA for emergency response and track preparation. The dependability and capability of these trucks are paramount to the legendary safety team performing its trackside duties.
Lucas Oil sponsors NHRA The all-encompassing partnership includes series sponsorship of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, title-rights sponsorship of the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals in Brainerd, naming rights at historic Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, and designation as the Official Oil of NHRA.
Pilot Flying J partners with NHRA As part of the agreement, Pilot Flying J will have a presence at NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events in 2014. The Knoxville, Tenn.-based company will receive onsite display rights at select events, where it will promote highway safety and provide information on career opportunities in professional truck driving. Promotional video spots on the track big screen and public address announcements also are part of the partnership.
SealMaster signs deal with NHRA Another component of the marketing partnership designates SealMaster as the title sponsor of the popular NHRA Track Walks. SealMaster NHRA Track Walks will be held in the morning hours prior to eliminations or in the evening after eliminations are completed at most NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events. During the SealMaster NHRA Track Walk, an NHRA driver or legend of the sport will lead spectators in a round-trip walk of the dragstrip, from the starting line to the finish line and back to the starting line.
