Airbnb signs deal with Pyeongchang 2018 Organizing Committee Earlier in 2017, Airbnb signed an agreement with Gangwon Province to provide lodging and promotional support for the PyeongChang Games. The number of Airbnb accommodations in Gangwon Province has increased by 30 percent since the beginning of 2017. Korea Electric Power Corporation signs deal with Pyeongchang 2018 Organizing Committee PyeongChang, August 23 – Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) was announced today as an Official Partner of the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018. KEPCO is the first Korean public enterprise to support the Games. Their substantial investment in the Games follows the rallying call from the host nation’s president, MOON Jae-In, for state-owned companies to show their support for the greatest winter sports event in the world which will begin in the Republic of Korea on February 9, 2018.
