January 30, 2014
Dear Sponsor and Veterans Supporter,
It is my pleasure to announce the First Annual Racing4Vets Endurance Karting Challenge to benefit Service-Disabled U.S. Military Veterans at GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, NC on May 19, 2014. This event will feature a number of top NASCAR® and IndyCar® drivers racing high performance go karts in a 2 hour team relay format with race fans and service-disabled veterans. GoPro Motorplex is a world-class kart racing facility used by NASCAR® Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World drivers.
We currently have commitments from several top NASCAR® Sprint Cup, IndyCar®, Nationwide, K&N Pro Series and Whelen Modified Tour drivers for the event. We will keep you informed as the driver lineup comes together.
Your Sponsorship Exposure
Timing of the Racing4Vets Endurance Karting Challenge puts it directly between the NASCAR All-Star Race on May 17 and the Coca-Cola 600 on May 25 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. These two races generate a huge concentration of NASCAR fans and motorsports media in a single location, offering excellent marketing exposure for your company. The event will be broadly publicized across multiple online, social media, radio, PR and print channels, reaching over 5 million consumers. An additional 2,500 race fans will visit the track for a chance to race karts with their favorite NASCAR® driver.

Racing4Vets is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2011 to assist service-disabled veterans with service-related physical injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Racing4Vets offers occupational therapy, career training, team building and amateur racing opportunities to service-disabled veterans in locations across the U.S.
Racing4Vets assisted over 120 service-disabled veterans in 2013, with over 500 veterans expected to participate in our programs in 2014. The money raised from the Racing4Vets Endurance Karting Challenge will provide funding that goes directly to helping service-disabled veterans and their families.
