Education
SCIENTASTIC! is a television series that will entertain an 8 to 13 year old audience, while inspiring and informing them about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) topics. This engaging series demonstrates how “science can be cool” (in an independent study, 86% of the youth respondents thought the program looked cool.)

Created by Professor John A. Pollock, PhD., the show uses educators, scientists, physicians, artists and other experts to help develop the concepts and learning opportunities portrayed in each episode. This facilitates learning for homeschool and classroom use and aligns the program with national STEM education standards. In addition, each program will have a mobile app that shares additional content and offers another viewing platform (for an example, watch POWERS OF MINUS TEN-BONE on Itunes).

Respondents to an independent study, including youth, parents, and teachers, found SCIENTASTIC! highly appealing:

• Most participants (92%) liked the program overall
• 81% had some level of interest in watching similar SCIENTASTIC! television shows and are likely to recommend the SCIENTASTIC! program to others
• 83% of youth respondents thought the topics matter in their own lives

SCIENTASTIC!’s appeal derives from its relevance for today’s tweens, and its integration of advanced animations, entertaining music, and fun dance scenes. It is an ideal platform for brands with a commitment to scientific advancement, health or education. Each of the 26 episodes will integrate science lessons from over 100 discrete show topics. Sponsors can repurpose segments with topics that tie into key products or CSR focus areas. The pilot, STICKS & STONES, can be watched here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9hEq6VSj_YA .
