Special Spectators, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, creates VIP game day experiences for seriously ill children and their families.

Since 2002, we've hosted more than 6,500 patients and parents at over 200 games - mostly college football.

In collaboration with some of the biggest athletic departments in the country such as Oklahoma, Penn State, and BCS National Champion Alabama, we create inspiring and memorable experiences for kids battling cancer and other life threatening illnesses. We work with major FBS football programs, marketing departments and media/marketing rights holders, to provide the quintessential Saturday experience including tailgate parties visited by cheerleaders, mascots and marching bands; locker room tours; meeting coaches & players; and a moving stadium announcement. Imagine a small group of seriously ill kids standing on the field in a packed stadium, being introduced to fans resulting in one of the loudest standing ovations of the season.

We anticipate hosting 40-50 game day events during the 2013 football season including events at 4 of the 5 largest stadiums - each with a capacity over 100,000.

Special Spectators, along with our media/marketing rights partners, offers a variety of highly customizable sponsorship opportunities in-stadium and outside the stadium with a variety of touch points including experiential, video, mobile, product placement, social and employee/executive participation.

Sponsorships may be national, regional or local for the organization, multiple events, individual events or multiple sports seasons.

Special Spectators has been featured on ESPN, ESPN.com, FSN, Comcast Sports, the Big Ten Network and received local television, radio and print coverage in markets such as Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Louisville, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Philadelphia, Tucson and many more.
