SeatGeek partners with Sporting Kansas City Sporting Kansas City announced today that ticketing industry leader SeatGeek will become the club’s official ticketing partner starting in 2017. As part of the new partnership, SeatGeek will serve as the official primary and resale ticketing platform for Sporting Kansas City and Children’s Mercy Park -- marking the company’s first direct ticketing partnership with a sports team or venue. The partnership between Sporting Kansas City and SeatGeek comes on the heels of the announcement of a broader partnership between Major League Soccer and SeatGeek to make the latter the Official Ticketing Partner of Major League Soccer.

Mazuma Credit Union sponsors Sporting Kansas City Although the value of the deal is undisclosed, it's surely a large number given that Mazuma is in the midst of some major construction at Sporting Park to create the Mazuma Mezzanine, a hexagonal area that will look like a soccer ball and allow fans to sit down and watch the game while they get a drink or a snack. Mazuma is also running Sporting KC's affinity card program, a credit card with a rewards program that offers Sporting KC fans everything from team store gift certificates to an all-expenses-paid road trip with the team.
