The Curious Cook is a new daytime format for the LGBTQ community that serves up a mouthful. With the main ingredient being curiosity, Chef Jase Grimm and host Athena Reich dish to a live studio audience, the latest pop culture events, trends, world news all while creating enticing meals with their guests. With fun games such as “Cut the Cheese,” weekly segments including “Out of The Closet” and our great hosts, it is easy to see why The Curious Cook daytime show is a recipe for television success.

Each week, Jase and Athena explore top trends in the NYC and LGBT community, create delicious recipes, and host “A-list” guests for all the food, fun and gossip you can handle.

The Curious Cook was conceived in 2012 as a web series out of our creator’s apartment. The show quickly became an iconic staple in the LGBTQ community and started getting guest requests from all over Manhattan.
The show grew so quickly that not only did we become a YouTube partner after our first season, we also got funding for season two, along with a great new kitchen to shoot in.
By the end of 2014, The Curious Cook has received more than five awards in categories like best series hosts, best online video and many more.
With so much growth and positive reinforcement at the end of season two we were asked to create a pilot for NYC Media TV.
With your help The Curious Cook is looking to bring our show to the silver screen and engage viewers all around the New York area.
