On Saturday, May 19, the race will begin at the Brooklyn Museum, pass scenic Grand Army Plaza, and run through Prospect Park and along Ocean Parkway to the finish line on the Coney Island boardwalk. That day will also see hundreds of youth runners compete in the fourth-annual Rising New York Road Runners youth run at the Popular Brooklyn Half. Registration for the 2018 Popular Brooklyn Half will open at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31. Guaranteed entrants may claim their entry between January 9 and January 23. The 2017 Brooklyn Half had 27,445 finishers.
