Emory Healthcare signs deal with Atlanta Braves The deal will provide the Braves organization with comprehensive and seamless state-of-the-art medical care. It includes access to Emory's world-class Sports Medicine, Orthopaedics, and Spine Center physicians, as well as priority access for all medical needs to Emory's six hospitals, advanced imaging equipment and physicians in more than 70 medical specialties. It will also provide the Braves access to Emory's sports science research and performance measurement expertise at the new Emory Sports Medicine Complex in Brookhaven, which will open this fall.
Emory Healthcare sponsors Atlanta Hawks The Hawks and Emory Healthcare announced plans Tuesday to partner on a long-awaited sports medicine center and training facility at a news conference at Philips Arena. The 90,000-square-foot complex will cost $50-plus million, according to a person familiar with the situation, and be privately funded. It will be located on Executive Park Drive in Brookhaven. Plans for the facility are complete and the groundbreaking is expected in mid-May to be ready for the 2017-18 NBA season.
