Gazprom partners with FIFA World Cup 11/2014 The state-owned company will join FIFA’s commercial portfolio in 2015, with the agreement running through to Russia’s staging of its first World Cup in 2018. Saturday’s announcement, which was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, gives Gazprom exclusivity in the oil, gas and fuel sectors and makes the company the first Russian sponsor for the four-year period.

Gazprom partners with International Rowing Federation 11/2014 A view of the sprint course for the Zurich City Sprints on the Limmat River in Zurich, Switzerland The 450m invitational city sprints will be held in the heart of Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city and one of the world’s leading financial centres. The Limmat River, which flows out of Lake Zurich, will stage the racing in the historical old town, with the start and finish lines situated between the bridges “Quaibrücke” and “Rathausbrücke”.
