Google partners with Los Angeles Football Club The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) today announced a multi-year partnership with YouTube TV. YouTube TV, the new cable-free live TV service, will serve as the “Official Live TV Partner” and “Official Video Partner” of LAFC, becoming the exclusive home to watch all locally televised English-language LAFC matches. YouTube TV will also carry all nationally televised matches on ESPN, FOX and FS1. The landmark deal features the YouTube TV logo prominently displayed on the LAFC jersey. This is the first partnership of its kind in North American professional sports where all locally televised matches are on a live TV streaming provider.
Google signs deal with NCAA INDIANAPOLIS – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), in partnership with Turner Sports and CBS Sports, today announced Google Cloud as its official cloud provider, and will use Google Cloud’s machine learning, analytics and data services to better serve the needs of its colleges and universities, athletic teams, and fan base. Through this partnership, more than 80 years’ worth of statistical game and competition data across the 90 championships and 24 sports the NCAA administers will be migrated to Google Cloud.
