Oneida Indian Nation signs deal with Oneida LPGA Classic NAPLES, Fla., October 20, 2015 – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) announced today that the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin has agreed to title sponsor a new event in 2017, the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic, on the Oneida Reservation immediately near Green Bay, Wisconsin. The tournament will take place at Thornberry Creek at Oneida, a course owned by Oneida Nation and managed by the Oneida Golf Enterprise Corporation. The specific dates for the event will be announced in the coming months.
Oneida Indian Nation signs deal with Green Bay Packers Oneida expanded its partnership with the team to include the east gate sponsorship in 2003 during the previous renovation of Lambeau Field, when the Lambeau Field Atrium was built. The renewed partnership allows Oneida Nation to continue to promote tourism and Oneida’s local businesses including the Radisson and Wingate hotels, Thornberry Creek and Oneida One-Stop gas stations and convenience stores.
