Shelter Insurance signs deal with Battle Line Rivalry The two teams from neighboring states have met five times with Mizzou owning a 3-2 edge, but later this month they'll meet for the first time as cross-division SEC rivals. Under the league's scheduling format, SEC teams play two opponents from the opposite division every year, including one permanent rival. Since entering the league in 1993, Arkansas and South Carolina have been tethered as permanent rivals. That changed this year when Mizzou became Arkansas' new annual cross-division opponent. South Carolina now plays Texas A&M every year.
