Target sponsors Garth Brooks Target Corp. (TGT) and Garth Brooks today announced they are collaborating to release an exclusive 10-disc boxed set, “Garth Brooks: The Ultimate Collection,” on Nov. 11, ahead of the national release of his highly anticipated new album. The boxed set will include an exclusive version of the new album, featuring Target bonus tracks, and nine discs of curated music from his celebrated catalog, remastered in thematic playlists and featuring a selection of previously unreleased songs. Complete track lists, pricing and pre-sale information for “Garth Brooks: The Ultimate Collection” will be released later this fall.
Target signs deal with Live Well San Diego The County of San Diego announced today its Live Well San Diego recognized partnership with Target, the nationwide retailer with 23 San Diego County locations. Following the announcement at the Target location on Sports Arena Blvd., San Diego County Supervisor Ron Roberts proclaimed June 15, 2016 to be “Target Live Well San Diego Day” across San Diego County.
Target signs deal with Spotify Spotify has begun letting brands sponsor the most popular playlists curated by the music streaming service, offering advertisers a way to match music with a message. Sponsored Playlists, as they're called, match a marketer with a playlist that lines up with a certain audience they have in mind based on campaign objectives. In a blog post today announcing the new offering, Spotify said it will work with advertisers to drive streams to a playlist during the sponsorship through native promotion, brand marketing and social media.
