American Eagle Outfitters is an American clothing and accessories retailer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1977 by Mark and Jerry Silverman as a subsidiary of Retail Ventures, Inc., a company which also owned and operated Silverman's Menswear. The Silvermans sold their ownership interests in 1991.
The Basketball Tournament is a 5-on-5, winner take all tournament with a grand prize of $1,000,000. The Basketball Tournament is a single elimination, open competition for players 18 years of age or older with the championship game airing on ESPN in August. In its first season, The Basketball Tournament drew over 100 team entries from around the country with 32 teams ultimately making the field. Participants ranged from professional players and recent college talent to local legends and pickup basketball stars. The event expanded nationwide in 2015 and doubled its prize.
