This multi-tiered, climate-controlled Acela brand centerpiece at Citi Field will provide uninterrupted views of play and showcase a fine-dining experience from Drew Nieporent's Myriad Restaurant Group. Prominent signage will feature Acela branding on the restaurant façade facing into the ballpark."The new Acela Club provides Amtrak with an exceptional opportunity to reach customers in New York City, our largest market," said David Lim, Amtrak's Chief Marketing Officer, Amtrak. "The popularity of the Mets combined with the popularity of our Acela Express service is a home run!""The Acela Club provides a unique setting with outstanding food from Drew and exceptional views of the action at Citi Field," said Dave Howard, Executive Vice President, Business Operations, New York Mets. The Mets will incorporate Acela into its marketing and media assets, including Mets publications and in-game programming features.The privately held, full-service advertising agency, Source Communications, Amtrak's sports marketing agency of record since 2001, negotiated the partnership between the Mets and Amtrak at Citi Field.
