Convention officials on Tuesday announced the sponsorship, through which they said AT&T will bring Cleveland the telecommunications infrastructure needed to handle the data and telephone service demands of an estimated 50,000 visitors to downtown Cleveland. A news conference is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum.
