To fast track the plans of the Cape Town Marathon being classified as Africa's first World Marathon Majors (WMM) race, and in the process boost city tourism by attracting athletes from around the globe, the marathon has secured major new naming rights sponsorship from Sanlam.The renamed Sanlam Cape Town Marathon will take place over a race weekend on 20 and 21 September 2014.Official headline sponsor
