Experiential Marketing at Target is an integral part of the marketing mix and is leveraged to connect with everyone from the general public to influencers, media and community partners. Within Target, experiential activations have played a large role in helping make Target an iconic brand – from an immersive holiday experience like Target Wonderland to creating a fashion show on the side of a hotel – experiential excellence and innovation is part of Target’s brand DNA.

As an Experiential Marketing Lead you will drive experiential strategy for select campaigns and categories of business, finding the right moments and the right activations to bring the Target brand to life. You will partner closely with Brand & Category Marketing, Media Strategy, Creative, PR, Social Media and others to craft a plan that elevates the brand and promotes deep engagement and sharing of the experience. You will work with some of the best agency partners in the business as well as the world-class Target Creative team to dream up and execute industry-leading experiences that consistently deliver on strategic objectives. On any given day, you will be simultaneously concepting, planning and executing several programs of varying scale. You will act as the project hub; drafting briefs, driving timelines, budget and keeping working teams informed both internally and externally. You will define resource needs based on size, scope and budget. You’ll provide vendors and agency partners on-going direction and feedback throughout the process. You’ll track metrics to influence future planning. This position reports to the Director of Experiential Marketing.
