As the Global Director, Experiential you will be responsible for transforming ABI into a market leader in the beverage space through customized stories and experiences for consumers.
As part of the Connections team, you will be responsible for creating and managing the strategy and execution of partnerships with properties that include FIFA, Premier League, Worldcup Soccer League to name a few. What You’ll Do:
XM MANAGEMENT & GENERAL SUPPORT (60%)
Identify, develop partnerships with third parties
Create highlight, recap, summary decks of activations, properties
Represent AB InBev at property/external workshops, venue tours, etc.
Manage property selection, negotiations as needed
Maintain global project management office (PMO) for each property and present at periodic team meetings
Liaise with AB InBev stakeholders regarding assets, guidelines, and activations
Track and manage all contractual assets on behalf of AB InBev
Support development of toolkits by brand teams for global distribution to AB InBev markets
Manage and coordinate approvals for all AB InBev markets; ensure contract compliance
Host, plan and prepare periodic planning meetings with AB InBev Zones, BUs to update on properties
Oversee activation of core contractual assets, e.g. King of the Match, Man of the Match, Hall of fame etc.
Manage program budgets and timely reconciliation
IMC/ CAMPAIGNS (20%)
Support AB InBev brands on the development of experiential activation concepts and programming
Provide Subject matter expertise during IMC process on passion points, especially sports, music
Attend IMC meetings hosted by GHQ brands as required
Advise, “sense-check” co-IMC agencies on the viability of their activation ideas
Provide guardrails for/guide IMC process in terms of contractual rights and obligations for various sports marketing agreements
SHAPING XM FOR THE FUTURE (20%)
Source, draft and/or share periodic industry research and trends
Provide regular intelligence on key happenings and opportunities on the global sports landscape including new platform/property opportunities or category activity
Create a center of excellence in sports and music passion points
Consult on the development of overarching sports strategies for global brands
Build, maintain, leverage global sports and music industry network
Identify new, innovative opportunities to develop/ activate passion point marketing platforms with a focus on new audiences
Advise on how to position AB InBev and its brands as innovative, disruptive and leading sports marketer
Consult on the monetization of experiential platforms
What you bring to the team:
Minimum of 10 years of experience
Subject matter expertise in sports and music in particular
Ability to identify new and innovative opportunities to position the brands as the leading sports marketer
Strong communication skills
