This continues to be a free event providing resources and activities promoting quality of life to help build healthier, wiser, more sustainable communities throughout Greater Cleveland. The event will offer free medical screenings courtesy of Cleveland Department of Public Health, Metro Health’s School Health Van, Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye & KOHL’s Vision First program, and Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland. The day begins with a morning workout session by one of Anytime Fitness’ trainers and continue with children’s activities, vendors, and a live performance by The Benjaminz to close out the festival. The festival runs from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
This year’s festival poster was designed by Ms. Reeves’ Kindergarten class of Archbishop Lyke School at St. Henry.
Their design won first prize of all the entries submitted from students of area schools.
The B-Buzz Little League Alumni return to celebrate their 50th anniversary at the field with a reunion game
featuring community leaders, professional athletes, and successful local businessmen including, Call & Post GM Kevin
Heard, Emmy award-winning journalist Ben Holbert, former NFL/CFL RB Terry Jones, and Warrensville Heights
Mayor Bradley Sellers to name a few. This day also culminates the end of the first season of the re-established league with
the first 28 players being recognized for their participation.
