Community Performing Arts is a family-run business that presents accessible and affordable classical concerts, pop shows, and dance performances to more than 12,000 active seniors in South Florida.
Tickets are sold on a subscription basis, so each of 12,000 patrons attends four concerts every season. CPA also offers one optional concert every year. All concerts are held at a leased venue in Boca Raton, Florida.
Most subscribers are active retirees living in more than 100 gated communities in Boca Raton and surrounding towns. They appreciate the finer things in life, and CPA's world-class performances keep them coming back year after year.
Florrie Morgenstern, an amateur musician and avid concertgoer, started CPA when she saw a need in her community for better access to high-quality, reasonably-priced musical and dance performances. More than ten years later, CPA employs six full-time staff members at its offices in Massachusetts and Florida.
