David Morris Taylor III (born December 5, 1990) is an American freestyle and graduated folkstyle wrestler who currently competes at 86 kilograms. A three–time US National Champion (six–time finalist), two–time World Cup champion, three–time Pan American champion, and the 2018 Ivan Yarygin Grand Prix champion, Taylor became the 2018 World Champion, notably defeating 2016 Olympic gold medalist and returning World Champion from Iran Hassan Yazdani in the first round.[1][2]
