The Sydney Football Stadium in Moore Park, in Sydney, New South Wales – also known as the Allianz Stadium for sponsorship purposes – was built in 1988, to be the city's premier "rectangular field" for rugby league and is now also used for rugby union and association football for major matches and domestic competition.
