The Bobcats have signed Vemma Nutrition Co. to a multiyear naming-rights deal for the north club at Time Warner Cable Arena. The team would not comment on the value of the deal, which industry sources estimated at six figures annually. It is the first time one of the two sideline clubs has been branded since the arena opened in October '05, Bobcats officials confirmed. The Vemma Lounge, serving Sections 104 through 106, contains a bar and upscale concessions operated by Levy Restaurants, the Bobcats' food and drink provider. Vemma, a six-year-old company based in Scottsdale, Arizona, distributes its products through a global network of independent brand partners operating in 50 countries. Vemma also receives scoreboard and LED ribbon board exposure, presenting sponsorship of the "Reading With Rufus" series tied to Vemma's Next children's formula, advertising in game programs, concourse table rights, digital presence at bobcats.com and opportunities to host events at a home game.
